Here is the schedule of programs for the 2003-2004 fiscal year. Please mark your calendars for the dates of the meetings. All meetings except October will be held at the Newberry Library beginning at 1:30 PM.

MAY 1, 2004

        Patricia Keeney Geyh is co-director of the Irish Emigration Library in Milwaukee and will provide the tools needed to find those Irish ancestors.

JUNE 5, 2004

        When summer arrives, thoughts go to vacations and what could be more fun to a budding or seasoned genealogist but a research trip to find some elusive ancestors. Daniel J. Kane, founder and sole proprietor of Extended Family Ties, is a native Chicagoan with Irish, French, English, and Scottish roots. He will present how to prepare and plan for a successful research trip.

    Parking is available at the 100 West Chestnut building for 6 hours or less at a reduced rate. Enter the garage from Clark Street just north of Chestnut Street. Get your parking ticket validated at the security desk at the Newberry Library.
