Members of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) inspect the site after several coaches of the Mysuru-Darbhanga Bagmati Express (12578) train derailed after ramming into the rear of a goods train at the Kavaraipettai Railway Station, located near Gummidipoondi, some 40km north of Chennai, in the early hours of October 12, 2024.
